Guide The Win32 AMT Gateway installation package automatically copies necessary files and modifies system registry. During the installation, the package will check availability of the WinPcap 4.0.2 and may ask you to install it. Then, please select "yes" to make Win32 AMT gateway work properly. |
| Running
the Win32 AMT Gateway Although the Win32Gateway is a stand alone application, it requires an input file to get multicast streams. The input file has extension ".amt" and it describes specific content in XML format. All you need to do is when you find the .amt file link on the web, just click it and let the system handle this event. Then, Windows system will launch the AMT Gateway and a player automatically. Alternatively, if you have downloaded a ".amt" file, just double click it. The AMT gateway and player will be lauched. The file may look like as follows.  So far, Win32 AMT Gateway supports Windows Media Player 9.0 or above and VLC player 0.9.2 or above.
