Key Note Speech: Mining network data - from Web2.0 to intrusion detection.
Anja Feldmann, Deutsche Telekom Laboratories / TU-Berlin
Abstract:
As the Internet is a system designed by engineers we have in theory the ability to collect and then analyse any kind of data. Yet, the challenge is to
identify those needles in the haystack that actually matter for the task at hand. In this talk we touch on several such tasks: how to derive Google click-streams, how Web2.0 traffic differs from Web1.0, how to
utilize a time machine to travel back in time to and tackle security forensics and/or network trouble-shooting problems.
