Deep Learning with Tensorflow workshop

Saturday, September 15 | 9am-2:45pm

Instructor: Dr. Anurag Nagar, CS faculty, UT Dallas
Room: ECSS 2.102 (Saturdays) & ECSS 2.412 (Sunday)

Tensorflow is a software library for high performance computing, and is one of the most popular open source libraries for building deep learning models. This workshop is targeted at beginners who want to learn the basics of how to use this powerful set of tools. The workshop will introduce the basics of how to build graphs in Tensorflow, how to build and train standard neural networks, and then how to build deep learning models such as Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs).

Tentative Schedule:

Day 1: Introduction to Tensorflow, Neural Networks
Day 2: Convolutional Neural networks in Tensorflow
Day 3: Recurrent Neural Networks in Tensorflow
