IDEA
Inclusion – Diversity – Equity – Access
The Computer Science Department at the University of Texas at Dallas endeavors to create an environment in which all students feel welcome, and all students are given opportunities to grow in technical knowledge and leadership. CS@UTD supports several events every semester, as well as student organizations, to facilitate inclusion, diversity, equity, and access.
Events
- Grace Series of Talks for the empowerment of women in computing.
- Grace Hopper Conference – each year the department supports selected students to attend the national Grace Hopper Conference.
- WeHack is a 24-hour hackathon for women and non-binary students.
